Our stay at Grubstuben Hotel in the heart of the Black Forest was fantastic. The rustic restaurant served up delicious Baden specialties, giving us a true taste of the region. The varied breakfast spread was a delightful start to our days of adventure in Schonach.The family-run guest house was a cozy retreat, with country-style rooms that were clean and comfortable. We loved our balcony with stunning views of the surrounding nature - a perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking and cycling on the trails right outside the hotel.The warm hospitality of the staff added a personal touch to our stay. Despite language barriers, their efforts to assist us were commendable. The free WiFi and storage facilities for our bikes were convenient amenities that enhanced our experience.We enjoyed savoring local beers and wines on the sun terrace, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the garden.
